As per thenational.ae the UAE Cabinet has announced measures to minimise the financial effect of the coronavirus on people. Among these is a free, automatic three-month extension for residency visas and Emirates IDs that expired from March 1. The decision is subject to renewal at the end of the extension period.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Monday announced that a Centre for Coronavirus Control would be established in the emirate. The new centre will include representatives from the Ministry of Health and Prevention and other relevant authorities in the emirate.
